Learn how to roast grind and prepare coffe
Welcome to this coffee course, where we will learn how to roast, grind, and brew coffee to enjoy at home. We will be using Mexican coffee from Chiapas, specifically the Arábica Gourmet Coffee variety.
Each participant will receive a portion of green coffee beans. These green coffee beans are used in the roasting process, during which they acquire their characteristic brown color and develop the flavors and aromas we associate with roasted coffee. Using special utensils, we will roast our own coffee and understand the importance of roasting.
We will also learn about coffee grinding, from how to grind the beans to choosing the grind size to achieve the desired flavor. Lastly, we will explore one of the different brewing methods, the drip filter, for preparing our coffee
